You’ll see, we have more work to do. We have high ambitions but need your help to put more of them into action. We recently decided on a new 2030 strategy, where climate and buildings are on top of the agenda. Your role will be to drive these two areas, working closely with other parts of the organization, making Nordic Choice a front runner and inspiration on taking action.
You will be our expert on CO2 calculations, and our advisor when it comes to how we can reach our group climate goal. You will be the driver on how CO2 can be integrated into our product and service offerings, customer reporting, etc. You will be responsible for our group CO2 reporting, and climate compensation. You will also be responsible for driving our partnership with ClimatePoint, our partner in driving the company towards climate neutrality. We just launched our Nordic Choice Climate Fund, and you will be in charge of running this fund and all activities surrounding it.
You will be the sustainability expert when it comes to the impact of building and renovating our hotels, and an important partner and support for our department responsible for this part of our business. Our new 2030 strategy set clear goals and targets that need a huge driving force to execute this ambitious strategy. That driving force is you.
You will also be an important expert support to our procurement team when it comes to furniture and inventory procurement. LCA analysis and circularity will be important areas to develop. Another important part will also be to support how we can operate our hotels more efficiently, when it comes to e.g. energy use.
