Meeting & Event Crew & Technical Support

Clarion Hotel Aviapolis, Vantaa.

The job is part-time, 60 hours/3 weeks.

We are looking to add an enthusiastic team member with an interest in audio visual and technical work. This position is great for students of theater or production background or anyone who is looking to practice and maintain their technical skills and grow their interest in the field.  

The position is mainly to provide technical services and meeting set ups to our Meetings and Events department clients - including all the production requirements for in-house conferences and events, and to facilitate the requirements of external production companies producing conferences or events throughout the Hotel. Also to operate and maintain all sound, lighting, and audio-visual systems relating to the smooth running of all Hotel functions and events.

The Clarion Hotel Aviapolis is an elegant and modern conference hotel with a great location, ideal for both business and leisure. The airport is just a couple of minutes away by train from the nearby Aviapolis station. With 12 meeting facilities, we can host a wide range of events and functions from the largest of 250 participants to the minimum of 1. In the past our spaces have turned into winter wonderland cocktail parties, wedding receptions and even concert halls, the spaces are versatile for all needs.

You know about all gatherings happening in hotels, and you are inspired to look for ways to make the spaces expand. You already preferably have one year of experience handling Audio and lighting mixing boards - you want and are able to learn something new every day. You know how to both give and receive feedback, both from our staff and our guests. You're not afraid of the rush, but you get excited about it. It just shows that you care about your work.
