In the middle of Karl Johan, Hobo Oslo is a vibrant hub with 181 rooms, four unique food and beverage concepts, event venues, and flexible workspaces. But most importantly: We want to create an atmosphere where both guests and employees can be themselves and feel at home.

Hobo was born in Stockholm in 2017, expanded to Helsinki in 2024, and came to Oslo  in 2025. We are inspired by the energy of the cities, the people who fill them with life, and the creative forces that make each Hobo hotel unique.

As a Housekeeping team member, you are expected to perform the following tasks: 

• Responsible to clean assigned rooms, bathrooms, common areas, corridors and other designated areas, with high quality and within an assigned time. 
• Follow daily routines, with a high degree of accuracy 
• Report damages, faulty inventory or other immediately to  your closest manager and maintenance department. 
• It is expected that every team member works continuously toward the predefined goals for the department, and that you are familiar with them. 
• The position requires shift work (week days, evenings and weekends). 
• It is expected that every team member stay updated on the hotels fire and safety routines. 
• Actively contribute to the work environment. 
• Have a good dialog with the reception via the internal system, Flexkeeping, Actimo and google hangout. 
• Be a good ambassador for the hotel and STRAWBERRY, and to help guests and colleagues by being resourceful. 
• Make sure to be uniformed correctly, in line with internal guidelines.  
• Take good care of our building, colleagues and guests. 
• Team members can be expected to perform other tasks if the work requires it. 

General responsibilities  (expected of all staff):

• Stay updated on our brand manual and personnel handbook 
• Participate in department meetings, general meetings, courses, workshops and events.
