We are looking for the new role of Housekeeping Supervisor for Public Areas. While the rooms are where our guests sleep, the public areas including the iconic Clarion lobby, Skyroom Bar, The Social Bistro, our Makasiini event space and the pool & gym are where the Clarion vibe lives. You will be building a high-performing public area cleaning team together with the Rooms Division Manager. Your attention to detail in maintaining clean and well-appointed public areas impacts our guests' overall experience.

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to our hotels’ success.

Your role:

• Help building a new team, onboarding, and training a new team of public area cleaners Create a culture of pride and ownership of the hotel’s appearance

• Clean and maintain public areas to Clarion’s premium standard

• Manage rotas and daily task assignments together with Room Division Manager to ensure 24/7 coverage of the hotel's busiest zones.

• Oversee chemical management and ensure the team follows Nordic Swan Ecolabel standards. Ensure all safety protocols (ergonomics, chemical handling) are strictly followed

• Manage the stock levels for cleaning supplies and equipment, keeping an eye on cost-efficiency without compromising quality

• Work closely with the Room Division and F&B teams to coordinate cleaning around events and high-traffic periods

• Respond to guest requests and address any concerns promptly

• Contribute to our team's success in guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and financial goals

This is a permanent position for 90hours/3weeks, following MARA TES guidelines, with a start date to be agreed upon.  The role requires working varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends. 

Is this you?

• Minimum 2 years of experience in professional cleaning, preferably within a hotel or high-end commercial environment in Finland is required

• Finnish residence & work permit mandatory 

• Background in supervisory roles or team leadership

• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques

• Fluency in English is required (our team is international). Fluency in Finnish is a significant advantage for vendor and local communication

• Proficiency in digital property management systems (PMS), staff scheduling software and knowledge of Finnish labor law and MaRa collective agreements is considered an advantage

• A proactive approach and a willingness to go the extra mile

• You are reliable and punctual with a positive attitude

• You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• You are able to work in a physically active role, involving bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
