At Nordic Light Hotel and our restaurant, Lykke, we don’t just offer a place to sleep and eat. We like to think of ourselves as an oasis for the curious minds, a space that mirrors the creative pulse of the city.
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team for a parental leave coverage (vikariat), working directly with our General Manager. If you love both the big-picture thinking of branding and the hands-on creativity of daily execution, you will feel right at home here.
We don't do things just because "that’s the way we’ve always done them". We value people who look beyond their comfort zone and are willing to try new ideas. Whether you are an experienced industry professional or someone with unique potential and a drive to learn, we want to help you grow into a strong leader.
This is a dual role. Some days, strategic planning will be in focus, while other days will consist of hands-on execution. Your main goal is to help us reach more people and make sure our brand is clear, welcoming, and consistently felt across every touchpoint.
Strategy & Content Creation
Marketing Strategy & Brand Execution: Design and execute marketing plans that support business goals while maintaining a consistent brand identity across all touchpoints.
Print Content Creation & Brand Design: Create, coordinate, and deliver compelling visual content for print materials (brochures, posters), ensuring a cohesive and engaging brand presence.
Social Media Performance & Insights: Manage, monitor, and analyze social media performance across platforms, translating data into actionable insights that inform content strategy, improve engagement, and ensure alignment with brand objectives.
Marketing Operations & Budget Ownership: Own the end-to-end marketing calendar and marketing budget, ensuring coordinated planning, resourceful spending, timely execution, and accountability across internal teams and stakeholders.
Digital & PR Growth
Influencer Marketing & Content Execution: Oversee and execute influencer marketing campaigns, newsletters, content production, and media relations, ensuring all outputs align with overall brand strategy and tone.
Paid Media Management: Lead paid media initiatives in collaboration with agency partners, ensuring campaigns are effectively optimized and tailored to specific markets.
Performance & Market Analysis: Analyze campaign performance and market trends using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite to continuously see what works, what doesn't, and how we can improve.
Collaboration & Hotel Life
Work as a Team: Partner closely with our sales and event teams to deliver the materials they need.
Involve the Staff: Keep our internal team informed about upcoming campaigns so everyone is moving in the same direction.
Be Part of the House: Because this is a hotel, you will occasionally help out with major events, participate in the day to day operations.
We are looking for someone who aligns with our values:
You have a Healthy Curiosity: You naturally look for market trends, customer insights, and better ways to do things.
You Balance Art and Data: You can write a compelling story, look critically at a design, and then comfortably dive into analytics to see if it worked.
You are a Collaborator: You respect everyone you work with, regardless of their background, and you lead by example with a positive, supportive attitude.
You Know the Tools: You have experience managing social media, running digital ads, working with external and internal stakeholders, and analyzing campaign data. You are proficient in tools like WordPress, InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, Canva
