We are looking for someone who is partly Rain Man, partly Mother Teresa, with the gift of public speaking like Obama. 

Ambitious? Yes, but that is who we are. Strawberry has an open position for Director of Profit Cluster Region in Norway which oversees a group of Profit and Revenue Managers for some of the largest and most important hotels in our portfolio. 

As the most innovative and boundary breaking hotel company in the Nordic countries, Strawberry can promise a position where you will be both challenged and appreciated every day. We are growing rapidly, and the leader we are searching, needs a solid background of at least 5 years in the industry. A master degree in economics, finance, hospitality management or other relevant field is also required.

Your responsibilities as a Director of Profit Cluster Region at Strawberry will be to ensure that your team optimises our revenue streams and gains market shares. This entails you overseeing the profit management of your hotels, such as yielding, forecasting and evaluating group requests, and  strategic discussions with our sales or marketing resources. You are also a key player in mapping out the hotel´s and regions strategic direction, in close cooperation with the hotel General Managers and the colleagues in our Profit Cluster. That is the Rain Man part of the job. 

You will be responsible for a team of around 10 colleagues, and your office will be either in Oslo, Trondheim, Bergen or Stavanger. Wherever you will be based, you will have an essential part in the further development of the department. Hence the Mother Teresa reference. We want you to take good care of your team. In addition to English, you are fluent in either Norwegian, Swedish or Danish. As you will both present, discuss and motivate others, you will need the gift of the gab. Like Obama.
