We are now looking for a new Conference & Meetings Manager to join our fantastic operational events team! You are a natural born leader who loves to lead by example, and help your team rise to the occasion. You are the one with the Big Picture and have a flair for creating unforgettable guest experiences on the next level! You are passionate and targeted, approachable and personal with a can-do attitude. 

 

Skills & qualifications needed 

  • You have a minimum of 3 years relevant operational experience.
  • You have a black belt in organizing, and Tetris is your favorite game.
  • It's all in the details, and you see them all.   
  • Your secret passion is IT and AV, and you love solving any tech problems that may arise. 
  • You strongly believe the strength is in the team, so helping your team grow & evolve is always on your agenda. 
  • You consider the environment your bestie, and love finding new ways of operating sustainably. 
  • Your English is fluent and it’s great if you speak a Scandinavian language.

   (Additional language skills are a plus. )

 

As Conference & Meetings Manager you report to our Food & Beverage Manager, and your responsibilities will be as follows (among others): 

  • Making sure day to day hosting and furnishing operations run smoothly 
  • Working closely with the other department heads in the planning phase.
  • Making sure you and your team delivers that extra level of service to all our conference guests. It may be a big house, but we treat all guests as family. 
  • Speaking nicely to all IT and AV equipment, making sure it's always operational & in a good mood :) 
  • Maintaining a good relationship and optimal communication with our Sales department. 
  • Being on the floor, leading the team as a guiding star during day to day operations. 
  • Be a Know-it-all ninja in regards to your inventory. 
  • Other relevant tasks belonging to the role ( Planning - scheduling -  organizing )
