Data migration consultant

In January 2023 Strawberry (formerly Nordic Choice Hotels) started to roll out the new tech stack on our hotels, including a new Property Management System (Mews), Point of Sales (Munu), MICE (EventTemple) and SPA solution, which will become the main part of our new standard tech stack at all our hotels by summer 2024.  

As many systems change at the same time we will need to compensate with temporary roles and organizations to make sure we get our new systems and work processes to flow in the best way possible.

We need more hands on deck in order to pull this off, and we are searching for 1 resource that can help out for a period of minimum 6-12 months.

We are searching for these personal characteristics:

• Good understanding and good skills working with IT-systems in general and specially Cenium/Navision
• Good understanding of the concept of scripting and how and where to utilise it (not to write / create it)

• Interest and motivation for working project-oriented and cross-functional 
• Appreciation for change and if you are able to help others adapt to change that will be fantastic.
• You feel comfortable when things move fast and there are a lot of activities going on at the same time
• You are able to work in a structured way . 
• You should have the ability to look for improvements of work processes and don't be afraid to challenge status quo
• You should be self-driven as the projects are proceeding at a rapid pace  .
     

The role:
The roles will be reporting to the RollOut manager , but project-wise be closely collaborating with the service owner for MICE, PMS and the whole Roll out organisation.   

• Secure the data migration process from old to new tech stack in close dialog with each property
• Describe current bottlenecks in order for the project to streamline and automate processes going forward.
