We are looking for people with a big passion for food, drinks and service to join our events team and our restaurants!

TAK is a rooftop restaurant in the center of Stockholm City with two restaurants and multiple bars. Modern Scandinavian food culture is influenced by Japanese cooking methods and flavors. Complex creations that are easy to like. We use locally produced products which are carefully selected by season. With a genuine craft in every detail, we want to create a dining experience beyond the usual. 

Together with the management team, you will lead the team in the restaurants and be responsible for the operational part of the service. You will also be part of TAK's operation management group, which means that you will have a big impact on future decisions and directions that the Restaurant takes.

In addition to your leadership skills, you should also have a creative side where you constantly want to develop yourself, inspire your team and develop the highest level of service. It is extremely important to us that you have a natural drive to develop and see opportunities where others see challenges.

The main responsibilities as a Assistant Restaurant Manager are:

  • Ensuring all the Front of House operation in the restaurants 
  • Responsible for the preparation, before and after service hours.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Front of House team delivers the highest standards of service to all TAK guests. 
  • Together with the management team, development of new service standards. 
  • Responsible for consistency of service performance and food production. 
  • Responsible for the daily performance of cleaning routines
  • Supporting the purchasing team with cost control and wine stock

Competences and qualities that are meritorious:

  • Minimum of 3 years of working in a team leader position
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and gastronomy
  • Experience from high volume restaurants with a high tempo
  • Good beverage skills and knowledge
  • You can work structured and organized.
  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing in English 
  • Large contact network in the hospitality industry
  • Financial education through a certified school
  • Leadership training of any kind.

Working hours for the role will be days, evenings and weekends based on the restaurant's operations but TAK values a good and healthy work environment, so your working hours will be adjusted so that you have a good life balance.
