Are you our new star in our bar at Quality Hotel 33?

With the season coming up soon we are now looking for a motivated and service minded bartender that also don't mind to join our restaurant team when needed.

The Social Bar is located at our Top Floor with a fantastic view over Oslo and down to the fjord.

About the positions:

We are for now looking for casual workers for the season that comes with possibilities of fixed contracts later on. The work is predominantly in the bar, however there will be possibility for work in other F&B outlets such as banquets and The Social Bistro.  

The primary tasks are to deliver great experiences and great drinks to our guests. We pride ourselves in personalized service and high quality products. The people we are looking for share this vision.

The positions require evening/night and weekend shifts. You will report directly to the Restaurant Manager.

About you:

You have experience from bar work, and a basic knowledge about bar tending and cocktails.

You are comfortable when it’s busy.

You enjoy chatting with our guests.

You have an eye for details.

You are independent and flexible.

You speak and write either a Scandinavian language or English (preferably both).

You are not afraid to think on your feet and make decisions when needed.

As the position involve serving of liquor, you must be 20 years or older.

The hotel's history

The hotel is characterized by works of art from several eras which together create a unique balance between modern and historical culture. When architect Erling Viksjø (1910 – 1971) saw his natural concrete masterpiece rise in all its brutal splendor on Økern in 1968, it was with the intention that the building would be an efficient headquarters for 4,000 employees of the Standard Telephone and Cable Factory. Today, the building has been refurbished with respect for the original style, combined with a new and modern interior. The hotel can accommodate many guests at once, and is suitable for large conferences as well as smaller meetings.
