Group Insights Analyst

We are now seeking a dedicated and skilled Group Insights Analyst to join our Insights & Analytics team. You will play a critical role in enhancing our group reporting processes. You will focus on ensuring accurate data collection and analysis, contributing to detailed reports that reflect the overall performance and financial health of the organization.

What you will be doing:

Supporting Group Reporting Initiatives
Assisting in the development and maintenance of group reporting systems, ensuring that data from various sources is accurately compiled and presented. This includes working closely with Senior Analysts to deliver timely and accurate reports to stakeholders.

Data Collection and Analysis
Gathering data from multiple departments and external sources, conducting thorough analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions. The Group Insights Analyst will be responsible for preparing and presenting data in a clear and concise manner.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Working with HQ, Hotel and Technology Teams to understand their data needs and ensure that reporting tools and analyses meet those requirements. The Group Insights Analyst will translate these needs into actionable data queries and reports.

Maintenance and Optimization of Reporting Tools:
Supporting the upkeep and improvement of existing reporting tools and dashboards, ensuring they remain user-friendly, accurate, and aligned with the organization’s goals. This involves routine checks and updates to ensure optimal performance.

Data Quality Assurance:
Assisting in the implementation of data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data used in reports. The Group Insights Analyst will help identify and resolve data discrepancies and ensure consistent data usage across the organization.

Learning and Development
Continuously improving technical skills and staying up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and techniques. The Group Insights Analyst will participate in training sessions and actively seek opportunities to enhance their analytical capabilities.

We believe you have experience with:

Data analysis and reporting, with ability to collect, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple sources to create accurate and insightful reports. 

Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, working closely with different stakeholders (finance, operations, and technology) to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights. 

Cross-functional communication and stakeholder engagement,  with ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders can be developed, fostering a more data-informed culture within the organization.

Strong attention to detail and data quality assurance,  with an expertise in ensuring data accuracy and reliability through meticulous data validation and quality checks. 

We think that these qualifications will be important: 

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field 
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience within relevant field 
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI etc)
• Working knowledge of Data Warehouses and SQL (e.g. Snowflake etc)

The office is our primary work location, we offer a hybrid working model for a more flexible working life. The HQ in Stockholm or Oslo will be your base for this position.
