Shape the Future of Hospitality at Strawberry
At Strawberry, we're not just a hotel company anymore – we're building a universe of experiences. We're transforming the hospitality landscape through innovation and technology, and 2023 marked a major milestone with the launch of our new mother brand, Strawberry. This exciting evolution creates countless opportunities for growth and impact, and we're looking for a passionate and skilled Product Data Analyst to join our Strawberry Data & Insights Team and help us shape the future of travel.
Our main mission is to establish a scalable foundation for how we work with product analytics across our tech product portfolio, spanning HQ operations, hotel operations, and our independent websites for our Luxury, Lifestyle & Resort division. As part of our team, you will establish frameworks, ways of working, and taxonomy structures that our teams can continue to build and execute on. This role is a crucial bridge between our Product Managers and their stakeholders, to make sure we build products that have the impact that we expect them to have, empowering the product teams to make better data-informed decisions independently.
Be a Data-Driven Force
As a Product Data Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in empowering Strawberry to become a truly data-driven organization. You'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust analytical solutions, supporting the full product development lifecycle, and moving us toward self-serve analytics.
What You'll Do:
Product Analytics & Insights: Support the full product development lifecycle by partnering with PMs to identify key levers, analyzing funnels and cohorts, and translating data into actionable recommendations.
Metrics & Reporting: Define and maintain product KPIs, OKRs, and success metrics, and build dashboards and automated reporting.
Data Quality: Improve and create new event taxonomy, tracking documentation, and data quality standards, collaborating with Product and BI teams on semantic models.
Frameworks & Enablement: Establish scalable frameworks and ways of working for product analytics, including taxonomy structures and experimentation practices.
Culture Champion: Actively coach product teams in data-driven methods and metrics, contributing to a self-serve insights culture day-to-day.
What You'll Bring:
Solid background in product analytics, including funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and behavioural modelling.
A product-minded approach that balances speed with rigour and communicates clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to coach and enable PMs, designers, and engineers to work more data-driven independently.
Comfort navigating ambiguity and legacy systems while building toward a scalable future state.
What You'll Need:
Proficiency in web analytics and event-based models (primarily GA4) and expert-level tag management (e.g., Google Tag Manager).
Strong understanding of experimentation design and hands-on experience with A/B testing platforms.
Proficiency in PowerBI and experience building semantic models (including structuring them to be AI-ready).
Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with Cloud Data Warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
Bonus: Python or R experience, familiarity with dbt, and experience with AI products or ML-adjacent environments.
What We Offer: This is a 9 to 12-month role for now to get us started. Strawberry is in a transformation journey and we have to be careful about our long term commitments. We however want to invest in you and offer you:
Real Impact: Be a part of a dynamic transformation and contribute directly to our success story.
Empowerment: Work in a flat organization with trust, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real difference.
Growth & Development: Access professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your career.
Fun & Community: Enjoy a vibrant work environment with plenty of social events and team-building activities.
Fantastic Perks: Benefit from great employee discounts, including staff and friends & family rates at our hotels.
Travel included: This role begins with a 6-month contract with your base at our HQ in Solna, Stockholm or Oslo (some travel between locations expected).
Summer vacation: We have summer code freeze June 29th to August 3rd so we expect you to take 3-4 weeks vacation in that period.
