The annual ASKO Norgescup for chef and waiter apprentices was arranged in Stavanger, Norway the 3-5th of February. This year our apprentices from Quality Hotel Skjærgården and Quality Hotel Tønsberg participated with great results!
Mathias S. Jerstad and Edward Kalsund from Quality Hotel™ with teamleader Michelle Davidsen from the training office for tourism, restaurants and food in Vestfold and Buskerud participated in the competition for chefs, waiters and reception during the weekend. Vestfold also had a mixed team with chefs, where Jenny Johansen from Quality Hotel™ participated.
"The teams from Vestfold and Telemark did very well in this year's competition, they got great feedback and reviews, and are highly motivated to continue their training and work towards the final next year" says General Manager at Quality Hotel Tønsberg, Øyvind S. Hagen.
The ASKO Norgescup for chef and waiter apprentices is an annual competition arranged together with the NKLs association. The competitions were arranged for the first time in 1980, and the winners of Norgescup are qualified to compete in the Nordic championship for apprentices.
Congratulations to all apprentices with great results!
