What makes you proud of working at Strawberry/eBerry?
The culture and diversity at eBerry makes me feel proud. If you look at the diversity, I guess all together we can speak 13 different languages. Which is great! The organisation encourages "Dare to disagree", not only on paper but also in practice. Also, there is no fear of failure, which helps us to think and perform outside the box. We learn not only from our mistakes, but also from new experiments that make us grow into a better organisation with every passing day.
Is there anything particular in your job that makes you proud?
I am proud to be part of a team that delivers a great quality product. We run with cutting edge technologies such as, reactive programming paradigm, cloud native applications, micro services based architecture, etc. We are an autonomous tea , taking ownership from the design to deployment phases. My efforts and contributions in these various areas make me feel proud.
Are you proud of overcoming any particular challenges in the past year?
During the pandemic I faced challenges on both personal and professional level. It was amazing to see the support from the management to help resolve my personal challenges. It was also hard to lose a lot of experience during the pandemic and the team size dropped to its lowest capacity. But, at the same time it was a great opportunity to still keep delivering amazing features at a good speed.
